The Tax Administration has published information on its website that may concern a large number of real estate taxpayers. The Tax Administration will use data mailbox delivery to send information for payment of real estate tax, without distinguishing whether it is a data mailbox of a natural person or a data mailbox of a natural person running a business. Similarly, data boxes of natural persons representing tax subjects and data boxes of legal persons will be used.

The Financial Administration states that this is a service for the public, not a statutory obligation, so the notification is only informative (the taxpayer does not incur any obligations).

However, the Tax Administration adds that if the taxpayer does not wish to receive the information in this way, he/she may request the tax administrator to send the information for payment of the real estate tax in another way by 31 January of the tax year (for SIPO) or by 15 March (for other services) of the tax year.
